Based in an historic market town in the heart of Norfolk, I am a designer maker working from my garden studio.
I have a background in graphic design and textiles and enjoy a diverse range of design and artisan work. For my hand crafted leather accessories I use only first quality full grain leather from meat industry hides which would otherwise go to landfill. The hides are tanned using the tannins from bark and plants which is considered to be eco-sustainable as it has a low environmental impact. I use traditional methods of leatherworking, hand cut leather, saddle stitching using waxed thread, hand riveting with brass rivets and an attention to detail. My leatherwork offers timeless contemporary classics in leather accessories, slow making that lasts. The leather work is stocked by Atwin, 10-12 Bridewell Alley, Norwich NR2 1AQ under the brand name of Juniper Calluna. My printed illustrated homewares are available from the Country Living Marketplace. I am a member of the Norfolk Contemporary Craft Society and feature in the Crafts Council Directory and the British Craft Directory |
